I had the privilege of photographing Rebekah and Lukas recently for their beautiful family photos in the SoCal mountains. From the beautiful mountain views to getting to capture these new parents with their 2-month old baby girl, this family shoot was a special one!

This park in North County San Diego is gorgeous and perfect if you’re looking for an accessible trail with a mountain backdrop. There’s plenty of free parking available. It is a little bit of a walk of about 5-10 minutes to get into the main area of the park, but the path is smooth and easy to push a stroller or wheelchair on.

The best lighting at this North County San Diego park is either in the middle of the morning or a few hours before the sun sets. You truly cannot go wrong with either time of day! You just have to be prepared for the sun to set behind the mountains way before the “actual” sunset time.
