Sunset Engagement Photos | Emerald Isle, NC
This sunset engagement shoot in Emerald Isle was SO much fun!! I had first met Sara and Jonathan back in the summer of 2020 when we first met up to trade photos with our then-boyfriends and now-(almost) husbands. It’s so crazy to think about how much both our businesses have grown and changed in the last couple of years!
Sara and Jonathan are so genuine and so fun to be around. They met through a club in college, and were dating by the end of the school year. They got engaged on shortly after their fourth anniversary. It was so fun seeing Sara again and hanging out with her and Jonathan, watching the beautiful sunset, and ending the session with them in the water.
The Location
We met up at sunset at Emerald Isle, North Carolina to capture these photos. There’s tons of open empty spaces to run around, some sand dunes, and cute colorful homes nearby.
Emerald Isle is a pretty easy location to have a session at, as long as we discuss which beach access to meet up at beforehand. It’s a big isle with lots of different entrances! Some entrances are near neighborhoods and/or hotels for close access to you if you’re staying nearby or some entrances are near a brewery/restaurants to grab a beer or food before/after/during.
