Balboa Park Wedding Photos
I had the privilege of photographing Sabrina and Noah recently for their beautiful Balboa Park wedding photos. From walking all over Balboa Park, lots of laughter, and getting to relax during these important photos, this bridal shoot was such a fun evening!
Sabrina and Noah wanted to take bridal photos about one month before their wedding day. Sabrina planned for her hair and makeup trial (done by Kat V Beauty) to be on the same day as these bridal photos. She also got in touch with her florist to have a bouquet ready as well. The couple had their bridal photos printed out and displayed at their actual wedding – which was so special for me to see what they did with their wedding portraits. Overall, these bridal photos were perfect for us to not feel rushed on their wedding day too!!
The Photo Location: Balboa Park
Balboa Park is located in downtown San Diego, California. The park has multiple museums, gardens, theaters, restaurants, and the well-known San Diego Zoo. Balboa Park is pretty good, so it’s smart to always have a specific location in mind to meet at. In these photos, we went to Alcazar Garden, the Botanical Building, Palm Canyon Trail, and the El Prado Complex.
Balboa Park has multiple parking lots available and plenty of street parking nearby. Depending on where you park, there is both paid and free parking areas. I suggest arriving early to give yourself plenty of time to find a parking spot and walk over to the location of where you’re meeting up with your photographer/vendors at!
